Laurie Anderson, for whom I have had great appreciation since the
80s, married Lou Reed several years ago and published
a letter in their local newspaper about his death. It's not heartbreaking, although that's how
Spin terms it, but heart-affirming. Would that all of us can have this said about us after our last days. Namaste, Lou.
